Dive is all I do

i got my license almost 3 years ago, before i turned 15. now, i’m turning 18 and she still won’t allow me to go diving. i got my license because…she didn’t know that i was actually getting it, only my father did. anyway, i’ve been asking for permission to go diving with my instructor but she won’t approve of it. she says i might die. it is a possibility (just like in any other situation/circumstance). she would just allow me if i go diving with my dad but he doesn’t have time. and the thing is, i think i’m as good as my dad when it comes to diving. also, i’ll be with my instructor and he’s definitely way better than me or my dad. i thought of introducing my mom to my instructor so that she’d trust me to be with him. haven’t done it yet though because my instructor’s dive shop is far from our place but he just recently transferred it to a nearby city. anyway.. suggestions please? i really wanna go diving already my mom says it’s JUST diving but for me it’s way more than JUST that.
